About Me

Hi there, thanks for visiting my website.

A little about myself; I am 58 years old and have lived in Massachusetts my whole life. One day I plan to retire in Alaska with my high school sweetheart, who I've been married to for 34 years. We have one daughter, 28 years old.

I remember walking with my father down to the local engine show "The Pepperell Crank Up" in Pepperell, MA as early as the mid 1970's but I didn't actually start collecting engines until 1992. Since that time I have collected and traded a lot of engines. Everything from Maytag's to a historically significant inverted Schleicher Schumm 1886 Otto.

Back in 2015 I sold everything I owned, bought some land and built a log cabin on the Kenai River in Alaska and prepared to retire there, but some family things came up and I've had to put that on the back burner for a bit.

In the mean time I've put my sights back on my passion of collecting and trading old gas hit-and-miss engines. I built this website to connect others that collect engines, make contacts, and help out those who have decided it's time to move on from the hobby.

Maybe you've inherited a collection and don't know what to do with it or how to move it along, I will be glad to help. For me personally, I think being able to deal with one person (no tire kicking, no cherry picking) and get everything cleaned up at once will make your selling experience more smooth and easy. For me; it allows me to really have an opportunity to add an engine to my collection that I otherwise would never have access to.

You would have one person to deal with, I do all the lifting, moving, & hauling. I have many contacts and attend many shows across the country where I can move the ones I don't want or need in my collection on to other enthusiast's over time.

So feel free to reach out to me just to chat about engines in general, selling an engine or even a collection. Ask what I may have that you could be interested in also. Although I am in Massachusetts I have bought collections from California, Montana, Michigan, North Carolina, and so on so don't be afraid to contact me because of where you are. I believe where there is a will there is a way and I look forward to the adventure!
